Day 6~Science Museum~Star Ferry

My first few pictures of every day look like this until my camera was able to adjust. This is in front of the Hong Kong Science Museum. It was a rainy day, so the perfect chance for an indoor activity! And, the boys were excited to ride in a taxi to get to the museum. There were 4 stories of experiments, and the boys tried out just about all of them.
Alex using some serious muscle to create bubbles. Driving in Hong Kong!

Experimenting with batteries.

Zachary's favorite exhibit. He had lots of fun distorting everyone's image.

Alex's favorite exhibit was a car race. He had to transfer power between cell towers to get the car to move.

Technically, this is a picture of the giant mousetrap, but it is also a good demonstration of the security guards that were everywhere in the museum. They were mostly women, and they patrolled their stations vigilantly. No climbing! No eating! Keep clear! There were also workers cleaning constantly, and many exhibits had signs saying "this display sanitized once an hour". One section we went into, they stopped everyone with a bottle of hand sanitizer!

Our evening plans involved a ride on the Star Ferry.
We took the MTR one stop, and then walked and walked to the ferry terminal. Victoria Harbor is surrounded by skyscrapers. Any direction you look, there are building crammed in next to more building. This is by no means a panorama, but I think it is fairly representative.

Dueling clock towers. Kowloon and Hong Kong Island.

Chinese Junk. And the fast way to travel to Macau.

The cutest tourists in Hong Kong!
