Our last day at Disney and Lantau Island began with breakfast with Daisy Duck, Chef Goofy and of course, Mickey Mouse!
After breakfast, we finished packing up, checked our bags and went out to the playground. There are two hotels at the Disneyland Resort, so we decided to take the shuttle bus to the other one and explore a bit.
The Hollywood Hotel had a few amenities that might have been nice, but we definitely made the right choice...after all, the boys had so much fun with the maze. We collected our bags and headed to the MTR for the move to our "new" hotel. The trip was an adventure. We needed to transfer 2 times, and on the second train, Zachary fell asleep (surprise!). The third train was very crowded and we all had to stand. Alex nearly fell over once, but then he found a better place to stand and did great. When we finally arrived at our station, my Octopus card (fare card) hadn't registered at the first station, so I couldn't exit the station. Eventually an MTR representative came over and took me to the office to get it fixed. Our hotel was a short walk through an underground maze of shops and escalators. We splurged on the hotel and it is incredibly nice, everyone is super friendly and helpful. Right away we met Vincent and he helped us out all week, and made sure the boys could reach the chocolates on the counter!

Unique channel guide.
Every night at 8pm there is a light show called Symphony of Lights. About 30 buildings participate and there are colored lights, lasers, and spotlights set to music. There is a radio station that plays the music, so you can watch from the comfort of your fancy hotel room. At the very beginning of the show, they introduce the buildings and the buildings take a bow by flashing their lights. Fun!
I really like that picture of all four of you with Goofy. Super cute!
